Soybean futures slip on muted demand



Soybean costs on Monday fell by Rs 43 to Rs 4,566 per quintal in futures market as contributors lower down their positions on weak spot demand.

On the Nationwide Commodity and Derivatives Change, soybean contracts for January supply fell Rs 43, or 0.93 per cent, to Rs 4,566 per quintal with an open curiosity of 58,710 tons.

Soybean for February supply went down by Rs 48, or 1.04 per cent, to Rs 4,578 per quintal with an open curiosity of 1,85,535 tons.

The autumn in soybean costs in futures commerce was principally because of discount of publicity by contributors, marketmen mentioned.
