Two males have been injured after their automobile fell off a flyover in west Delhi after hitting one other automobile from behind on Thursday, police officers stated.

The accident befell round 11 pm when the Honda Metropolis automobile hit crashed into Ford Endeavour parked on an elevated street in Vikaspuri-Peeragarhi flyover and plunged on the pavement 40 toes beneath and toppled a number of instances, they added.

The occupants are believed to have survived the autumn as a result of they have been carrying seat belts; their airbags within the automobile can also be believed to have cushioned the blow from the influence.

“On enquiry it was revealed {that a} Honda Metropolis automobile going in the direction of Peeragarhi had hit the Endeavour automobile from behind and thereafter Honda Metropolis fell from the Vikaspuri flyover. The injured have been rushed to DDU Hospital and Sehgal Hospital respectively.  In a while sufferer Arun was shifted from DDU Hospital to Jaipur Golden Hospital, Rohini by his family,” DCP (west) Deepak Purohit stated.

The injured Anuj and Vijay, who have been sitting contained in the Honda Metropolis, have been rushed to Deen Dayal Upadhyay (DDU) hospital for remedy.

Later, Anuj, who runs {an electrical} store, was shifted by his family to a personal hospital for additional remedy, the police officer stated.

Vijay, a farmer and constructing materials provider, remains to be on the DDU hospital present process remedy.

A case of rash driving and inflicting harm by act endangering life or private security of others of the Indian Penal Code has been registered at Vikaspuri police station, the police official added.
