Honda Automobiles studies 86 per cent dip in gross sales in June, strains up new product launches this month

Honda Automobiles India Ltd (HCIL) on Wednesday reported a 86.44 per cent decline in home gross sales at 1,398 models in June. The corporate had offered 10,314 models in home market in June 2019, HCIL stated in an announcement.

Exports stood at 142 models final month, it added.

“Amidst the COVID-19 disaster, June was vital for us as we resumed our manufacturing partially from mid of the month whereas exercising utmost warning and highest security protocols in our crops,” HCIL Senior Vice-President and Director (Advertising and marketing and Gross sales) Rajesh Goel stated within the assertion.

The tempo of deliveries is greater than double of firm’s dispatches in June, he added.
