FCA India goals to broaden used automobile enterprise

NEW DELHI: Automaker FCA India on Thursday stated it’s trying to broaden its pre-owned automobile enterprise with plans to have 65 shops operational by August finish.

The corporate at the moment runs its pre-owned automobile enterprise — SELECTEDforYOU, from 42 gross sales shops.

The automaker had launched a pilot operation of SELECTEDforYOU in Delhi, Mumbai and Hyderabad in 2019 and can now plan to scale it up throughout the nation, FCA India stated in an announcement.

“The Jeep Compass enjoys distinctive residual worth within the Indian vehicle market, and that may be a nice alternative for our prospects,” FCA India President and Managing Director Partha Datta stated.

SELECTEDforYOU, being cultivated as a shop-in-shop enterprise mannequin, assures belief, confidence and peace of thoughts for patrons, he added.

FCA India has offered round 60,000 items of Jeep Compass within the nation until date.

SELECTEDforYOU accepts autos of any model in commerce for both a brand new or pre-owned Jeep Compass, the automaker stated.

Each pre-owned Jeep Compass shall be licensed solely after a 125-point inspection verify, thorough verification of previous possession, service data and in depth presale on-road testing, it added.

A SELECTEDforYOU licensed Jeep Compass shall be provided with a guaranty of 36 months or 60,000 km complemented by 24×7 roadside help (RSA).
