65% of vaccines manufactured in Hyderabad, says Bharat Biotech’s Krishna Ella

Virtually 65 per cent of all vaccines manufactured in India and exported around the globe come from Hyderabad, Bharat Biotech Chairman and Managing Director Dr Kishna Ella stated on Monday.

He stated that there isn’t any cluster like Hyderabad’s Genome Valley anyplace on this planet which contributes such large volumes.

He was talking after receiving Genome Valley Excellence Award on the inaugural session of Bio Asia 2021, the 18th version of Asia’s largest life science and healthcare business convention.

Dr Krishna Ella and Bharat Biotech’s Joint Managing Director Suchitra Ella acquired the award from Telangana’s Business Minister Ok. T. Rama Rao.

Stating that he’s honoured to obtain the award, Krishna Ella stated this award was for all entrepreneurs who contributed to metropolis’s progress.

He stated regardless of Hyderabad being the biggest vaccine manufacturing hub on this planet, the town will not be getting the popularity whereas Bengaluru will get an excessive amount of consideration.
